Become the main sponsor of Plastic Odyssey

L'OCCITANE en Provence is proud to be the main sponsor of Plastic Odyssey.

Plastic Odyssey is an innovative global initiative aimed at reducing plastic pollution. By connecting a global network of partners, researchers, entrepreneurs, teachers, and engineers, it develops concrete solutions for recycling plastic waste and raises awareness of plastic alternatives.

Protecting the environment has been a core value of L'OCCITANE en Provence since its founding in 1976. We have never distributed plastic bags in our stores and have been collecting empty bottles since the 1990s.

A three-year global plastic reduction ship tour

In 2022, Plastic Odyssey embarked on a global plastic reduction journey on a 40-meter-long ship, hoping to solve the problem of marine pollution from the source on land.

Over the next three years, the Plastic Reduction Ship will travel to the countries and regions most affected by plastic pollution around the world to promote local programs, recycle marine plastic waste, and spread knowledge and technology on plastic alternatives to benefit the local environment and economy as much as possible.

"The ambition of Plastic Odyssey fills us with dreams." - Adrien Geiger, CEO of L'OCCITANE en Provence
