About Impact Crafters
Whether you’re a sustainability enthusiast or just starting to explore sustainable, eco-conscious business, this is your moment to step up, innovate, and lead! Join us to shape a future where business fuels positive change.
Students will:
- Attend an open lecture on sustainable business practices, gaining insights from industry experts.
- Participate in a hands-on workshop to hone your skills in ideation and implementation.
- Join a volunteer event hosted by us to connect with the sustainability community.
By offering open lectures, workshops, volunteer opportunities, and paid internships, we will enhance students’ knowledge of real-world sustainability. Our goal is to empower students to transform their innovative ideas into actionable, impactful business solutions, driving tangible change in our industry.
Becoming Impact Crafters

Open Lecture
Discover sustainable business models and L’Occitane’s environmental initiatives, including circular economy, carbon reduction, and ethical sourcing. The Open Lecture will also introduce the Impact Crafters 2025.

Workshops
Through interactive sessions and a case study by V Cycle and L’Occitane experts, students will explore retail circularity and key principles of sustainable business.

Check-in clinic
A space for students to reflect on the sustainability journey, ask questions, and receive guidance on refining the ideas and aligning them with real-world environmental impact.

Volunteering Event
Students can take part in experiential activities—such as site visits or nature walks that offer meaningful exposure to sustainability in action and encourage personal reflection on environmental impact.
Awards
Shortlisted Teams (20 teams): Become L’Occitane Impact Crafters Leaders, entitled to becoming part of an exclusive LinkedIn group with access to the newest sustainable initiatives, product kits, and more. You will also join biodiversity training with staff members, network, and be awarded with an official certificate, acknowledging your contribution as program leaders.
Winning Team (1 team): Will be engaged for a 6-week paid Internship, 2 weeks of retail campaign experience to actualise your business solution, and a cash prize of HKD 10,000!
*Please note that the winning team will be required to commit a minimum of 2 days of paid Internship per week for 6 weeks.
Application Details
Eligibility Criteria
All undergraduate students (both local & non-local) currently enrolled at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Lingnan University (LingU), Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).
*Students must be over 18 years old to be eligible to participate
A team of two to submit 1 proposal only.

Impact Crafters 2025 (“Campaign”) General Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)
- To ensure eligibility, participants are required to submit a copy of their student ID.
- Successful applicants will receive an email from the organizers confirming their eligibility. Late registrations, incomplete information, or failure to meet the specified requirements will result in disqualification.
- All members of the participating teams must attend the open lecture, workshop, and volunteering day in the first round of the campaign.
- All members of the finalist teams must attend the pitching presentation.
- Participating teams may be required to present their proposals publicly at the pitching and may be interviewed or participate in press conferences or related promotional activities.
- All data and materials in relation to this Campaign, including but not limited to photographs, videos, presentations, and itinerary proposals, in whatever content, nature, and forms, generated or utilized during the entire duration of the Campaign (including the application and initiation phase), remain the sole property of L’Occitane en Provence, regardless of whether developed by L’Occitane en Provence or any Participants (“LOC Materials”). L’Occitane en Provence shall exclusively own all right, title, and interests in and to aforementioned LOC Materials, for any promotional and commercial purposes, without limitation.
- Participants must not have any contact with the panel of judges from the preparation stage until the presentation stage.
- Participating members must be punctual for all competition activities.
- If team members are late for the pitching, no additional time will be provided for their presentation. If a team fails to begin its proposal presentation within 10 minutes after the specified time, the team will be automatically disqualified.
- L’Occitane en Provence may modify the presentation time and date for the proposal pitching at any time.
- In the event of any dispute, L’Occitane en Provence reserves the right to make the final decision.
- L’Occitane en Provence reserves the right to modify the competition rules. By submitting an application for participation, participants fully agree to all the competition rules.
- Teams or members who fail to comply with the competition rules may be disqualified. These T&Cs are written in English and may be translated into other languages.
In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
