Launched in October 2004, the Diversity Charter celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and encourages businesses to guarantee the promotion and respect of diversity in the workforce. By signing it, L’Occitance undertakes alongside other companies the fight against all forms of discrimination and the elaboration of an approach in favor of diversity around three main axes:
L'OCCITANE is committed to the employment of people with disabilities. In 2013-2014, its production sites have once again gone beyond the legal requirement of a 6% employment rate of disabled people, attaining 7.24%.
Since 2013, various initiatives have been implemented by L'OCCITANE to advocate equal opportunities for men and women, including conducting pre- and post- maternity leave interviews.
To reinforce its commitment to diversity, L'OCCITANE has developed an action plan to both facilitate the sustained integration of young people into employment and promote the hiring and continued employment of senior employees.
